Richard prosecutes and defends in all levels of criminal work, mainly based in Sussex. The CPS class him as a Grade 4 prosecutor. He is regularly briefed as the lead advocate in murders, attempted murders and the most serious criminal cases; but is equally happy dealing with day-to-day criminal work in the Crown Court. Richard often appears defending and prosecuting in the most serious motor death cases.
