Deepak is recommended as a leading junior in matrimonial finance in Chambers & Partners, Legal 500 and the Legal Experts Directory. He is also the co-editor of Jackson’s Matrimonial Finance and an advisory editor of the Family Court Reports. He has appeared at all levels in matrimonial finance proceedings from county courts to the Court of Appeal, the House of Lords and the Supreme Court. He has acted in landmark cases such as McFarlane, Charman, Crossley, JKN v JCN and Radmacher v Granatino.

In addition, he is regularly instructed in family law cases involving complex questions of law, which have included offshore trusts and human rights issues. He is also frequently instructed in cases that have an international dimension and, in particular, those involving the Brussels Regulations.
