Jennifer Perrins is a specialist family law practitioner.  She advises and acts in all areas of family law relating to children, including care proceedings, adoption and international child abduction. Jennifer appeared as junior counsel for Reunite in the Supreme Court in the case of Re E (Children). Her financial work encompasses ancillary relief, cohabitation disputes and applications under Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989.

Until 2010, Jennifer also practised in criminal law.  She has particular experience in dealing with family cases that are connected to criminal proceedings, such as ancillary relief claims involving Proceeds of Crime Act issues, and care proceedings that are affected by parallel criminal trials and public interest immunity applications.

Jennifer regularly deals with private law children cases in which serious allegations of domestic violence have been made, and with intractable contact disputes.  She is very familiar with all aspects of contact enforcement.  In her public law work, Jennifer represents Local Authorities, children and parents, including the alleged perpetrators of physical and sexual abuse.
